Youth Ministry at FUMC includes youth in 6th-12th grade. We serve a diverse group of youth from 30+ schools in Peoria and the surrounding area. Our vision is to make an impact in the lives of youth through shared times of worship, study, service, and relationship. Our goals are threefold: Help students develop a deeper relationship with God, Help youth develop relationships with each other, and Help youth develop relationships within the larger body of FUMC. Activities include: youth group, sunday school, Bible study, and outings, such as trips, retreats, camps, and pop up events.
Youth Group meets on Sunday nights from 6-8pm. We meet in the Youth Room and Wesley Hall, both located in the basement of FUMC. Youth Group normally includes dinner, worship, a message, and small groups. We do like to switch it up, so we do have game nights, movie nights, and other special activities.
Youth Group is for anyone in 6th-12th grade. Small groups tend to be broken up by gender and age, but sometimes we mix things up.
**Most nights both groups meet at the same time. However, there are nights when groups meet seperately because of trips or other events taking place within the church. Special emails and text messages are sent on those nights.
Small group takes place on Wednesday nights from 7-8pm in the youth room.
Join us at 6:30pm for worship in the Worship Center.
Small group is for 6th-12th graders.
Sunday School occurs on Sunday mornings from 9:45am-10:45am.
Classes are separated by age.
